Welcome to my Early Childhood Blog

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’ll be writing articles relating to Early Childhood Education, focusing on the huge role that educators have in shaping our young children.

A little about me: I am a pediatric occupational therapist with more than twenty years of experience working with young children. I’m also a professor of occupational therapy at Milligan College where I teach graduate level child development, human development courses, and pediatric occupational therapy courses.  I maintain a private practice, and my specialty is the treatment of young children with autism, sensory processing disorders, or neurological disorders.

I’ve authored five books for Gryphon House and published several articles to educate early childhood teachers and parents. My hope is that I can use my experience and knowledge to positively affect educators and caregivers to create environments that nurture children with special needs.

Please feel free to share any comments you have below or use my contact form to get in touch with me directly. Thank you for reading!
